COURSES POSTPONED!

Due to the urgent measures for the protection of all of us from the coronavirus (COVID-19), Θάλασσα Αλληλεγγύης – Thalassa of Solidarity will remain closed from the 11th of March 2020. Health is the most important issue for students, volunteers, all of us!

You can communicate with us via email at info@thalassa-solidarity.org and visit our pages at Facebook @ThalassaSolidarity and Instagram @ThalassaSolidarity for updates but also to check our handicrafts!

And if you would like to have some, let us know!

Let’s not forget the refugees here in Heraklion, Crete but also at the camps around Greece; the migrant workers; and all those around us that they are having less access to information or do not have the capacity and the means to protect and sustain themselves and their loved ones!

We live, learn, work, dream, take care, stay health, together!

UPDATE: Our next step needs your support!

We are taking our next step!

We are starting soon free lessons on basic computer literacy and introduction to the English language!

For this we are transforming the loft of our laboratory, about 20 m2, to be able to host 4-5 students.

SO FAR SO GOOD! WITH YOUR SUPPORT:

We would need to complete the setup the following:

  • 1 desktop, complete with screen and cabling
  • 2 electric multi-plug extensions (5 plugs) with on/off button
  • Video projector or big TV screen
  • And assorted stationary like notebooks, pens, markers, etc, etc.

If you have any of the above to donate please send us a message at info@thalassa-solidarity.org

Share this information to people, companies or schools that are renewing their hardware!

Thank you!!
